I Few Little Issues, Fixable? (Read 31 times)

Just a few little issues I would like to disguse.

1. Enemy bases in you territory... In quick combat I have noticed that even if you are in England as an allied player, some of the airbases are listed as enemies. I think this is stupid. If you are going to intercept bomber or tackle fighters they should come in from over the channel.

2. Crash landings... I'm sure everyone has noticed that when you need to put down and there are no airbases around, even if you make a perfect landing on a road or in a paddock it's still listed as a crash landing.

Is it possible to change these?

Hey Biggles,
Where have you been, haven't seen you post in a while?
I agree with you on the enemy base in friendly territory issue. I fly QC in Duxford and Dover a lot and there must be three enemy bases to each friendly. I could understand that in occupied France, but England?!
As for the crash landing thing, I kind of agree with the game on that because if you are not landing at a base it is because you were forced to land elsewhere, maybe some better terminology is in order.

I see what you mean with the crash landings but still I object to the plane blowing up anyway!

Since I'm not very up to date with my computer and flightsims I've been laying low for a while, and there is hardly anypoint playing CFS3 until I get a stick of 256megs more of RAM in my hard drive. I'm still working towards it though.
Also since there have been little freeware addons for CFS3 lately and I don't own FS2002 there hasn't been much to talk about.

I wondered how your computer was coming along, I'm in about the same boat, the game runs good but I need more ram also and in fact I did buy 512mb about a month ago only to find out it isn't compatible with my MB even though it was supposed to be. As for the crash landings I've made several belly landings and watched my pilot run from the plane before it exploded, have you seen this?
