Ok, I am a bit of a newb in the FS2002 world.  Until recently I was kind of obsessed with combat flight sims.  This is my first question here, so treat me gently.  I searched around for info on this topic but couldn't find any.

PROBLEM
I currently run FS2002 on an XP system that is on a LAN using Internet Connection Sharing and the computer that I fly on is NOT the computer that is connected to the internet.  I cannot find a way to fly multiplayer over the net.  I have a permenant ADSL connection to the net.

QUESTION
1. Does anyone know how to get multiplayer to work in this situation?
2. If it is not possible with the Microsoft ICS software then is there any other combination of software that would be able to work?

If anyone requires more details on my setup to help I can provide them.

Thanx in advance.

Cheers,&&Odd.

Welcome to SimV!
Right what you need to do is go to our utilities download page (there is a connection on the front page), and then download FSHost (new version is out today).
Run the program and follow the instructions. Send your URL address to those you wish to fly with, and have fun.
Or you can go to Vatsim.net and register with them (its free), and download the software you need, and play with loads of different people! And have ATC.

THanks very much for the help Ozzy72.  I do have one other question tho.  In normal FS2002 multiplayer do you have the ATC?  Or is it not a multiplayer option?

Just curious as to what I am potentially missing out on with my current setup.

Thanks

There is no ATC other than with Vatsim, and if you have speakers and mic. then you can talk with real ATCers.
