Hey,
   Now i took my new bird the Republic SeaBee and try to fly out of Table Rock in christmas. But i can't get out! How it stalls the mt. are to damn tall! ??? Cry

Real life GA pilots have the same problem here in Reno, Nv.

It's normal to see some do a couple of circuits around the valley to get some altitude before going over the mountains.

Maybe that'll help.

Hey fisharno, I am guessing you are from Reno.  I live just over the hills in the San Francisco Bay Area... Can't wait for the Air Races this year, hopefully I will have the money to go.

Two good airports I know of to try, is South Lake Tahoe (KTVL-Depart Runway 18 ) and Carson City. NV (don't know the identifier for Carson, depart the runway that heads north and before you know it... you be into the hills).
