Hi all,
Today I was flying a 767-300 from Klax to UUEE and somehow the plane ended up flying way up there. First it started to loose airpeed, then altitude( i did not have the Anti-ICE on so that's why it probably did that).
The clouds move in the same direction of the plane and almost at the same speed. The terrain looks wierd and it doesn't feel like you're flying at FL360, it feels more like you're fyling at 15000ft
Has anyone experienced this before?

don't know exactly what you mean, but flying over the north pole isn't possible in FS.
the globe in FS is programmed as a cylinder so you can't fly over the poles.
it's weird but that's they way they did it.

The last time I flew there was about 1 year ago. By the way, how can you tell the difference between FL350 & FL360?? Seriously mate, that's 1000 feet, when you're that high it really doesn't make a difference, you must have really sharp eyes!
And when I did fly there, I didn't like it the slightest bit, especially the repetitive effects, so I just don't fly there, it's not the end of the world. And I know it's wierd.

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

Well I know it's not the end of the world. I was just trying to share this with everybody here. I have never been up there before.
About the altitude, my bad I meant to type 15000ft and not FL350 but I already modified it on the previous post.
"don't know exactly what you mean, but flying over the north pole isn't possible in FS"
Well I don't think I was lying or exagerating though . The plane was right above the the northern part of Greenland. Right where the repetitive effects take place.
Next time I fly from UUEE to KLAX I'll take some screenshot and post here so you can see exactly what I mean.

Not doubting your word but to my knowledge, it is impossible to reach either pole.
As Tounge_of_Colicab said, FS2002 scenery is mapped on a cylinder, not a globe and the poles themselves simply aren't there.
The texture sliding effects you're referring to are mentioned in the FS2002 readme file:
Sliding scenery
At high latitudes (greater than 70 degrees north or south), airports and 3D objects appear to slide over ground textures as you fly or slew. The closer to the north or south pole you are, the greater the sliding appears to be.
Again, this is a by-product of the cylindrical modelling.
Please post a screenshot anyway. I've never tried to reach the poles and it would be interesting to see the view that far North, whether or not you achieve the magical 90 degree latitude.
Hope that helps.

Thanks to FS2002tipster I was able to show the aircraft flying over the north pole.
This was a flight from UUEE(Seremetyevo) to PANC(Anchorage Alaska)
