I need beta testers for the Baron V3 panels. I'm concious of recent threads concerning the pitfalls encountered with add-ons, so I'd rather get it right before I publish.

The Standard version isn't ready yet but will be soon. I need a couple of people (regulars here that I know please) with FS2002 Standard.

I need the same for FS2002 Pro Users.  Please note that I'm looking for Pro users who DO NOT have the FSD FDE (FSDtwinS.zip ONLY!) update installed.

If you're willing to help, please either reply to this thread or private message me. I'll need you to state whether you're an FS2002 Pro or Standard user.

I'll then supply a url where the files can be downloaded from, which is why I need people I know from here rather than new members. Smiley

Please note that I'll want you to check my documentation (bit lengthy this time) as well as the operation of the panel itself.

Thanks in advance to anyone prepared to help. Smiley

I'm there.  I usually fly on weeknights (USA EST).  I don't think you can improve on the panel you already have (except that fuel computer bug) but I'll be glad to help.

I have Pro version.

Hey tipster.  I'll help you out.  I have the Pro Version. I fly the barron regularly and I don't have any addons for it yet.  I have been follow your rtw flight and love the panel you have.  I am a real world pilot so I like to have things "As Real As It Gets" since I can't afford to fly the real thing very often.  I don't remmember what e-mail I used to set my account up here so if you want my help you can send any relevant info this address:

Ric - Thanks a lot. I'm actually looking for FS2002 Standard users now. I've got 3 volunteers with Pro so I'm pretty well covered there.

Are you on FS2002 standard?

Okies Cherokee and thanks.

I'm not familiar with the 310 - is it normally aspirated/turbo-charged/turbine?

Ok great. Smiley

All I have to do now is finish it  Roll Eyes - it's proving to be a nightmare hunting down replacement gauges that look anything like half decent.

I'll post in this thread as soon as it's done and you can give it a go. Smiley

Thanks anyway Ric. Smiley

The way things are going with the FS2002 Standard conversion, there might not be one LOL. It's proving incredibly difficult to find gauges and switches that work, and don't look awful sat next to each other.

I'm considering shelving this until I can get my gauge programming skills up to speed and produce my own.

Can't you just re-paint the guages that look bad? I think Chuck did a program for that years back?

I'm probably over simplyfiying the issue, I know how complicated it can get!

If you want me to try repainting some guages, tell me what you need, I'll do my best to help.

Wow Ric - would THAT ever be a help!!

I've no idea how you disassemble a gauge to extract the bitmap, which lies at the root of the problem.

It's easy enough in XML, but I haven't got any utilities for .gau files unfortunately.

I presume .gau disassemblers and assemblers are payware only. I've never come across a freeware one. If you know of one, please let me know, otherwise I'll try and find a couple of gauges that actually work properly (not as easy as you might think LOL) and send them to you with images for the style I'm after if that's ok?

Cheers!  Cheesy
