Talented Brother, aren't you?

Just being curious... What do you expect the file size will be for the finished standard version?

Looks super good!

Does it matter!?

I'm gonna download the panel no matter what the file size is! Wink

I try. Smiley

File Sizes are difficult to estimate at this stage but I don't anticipate the Standard version being much bigger than 2mb. Gauges are amazingly good at compressing inside zip files. Smiley

Hey Tipster, Just amazing work! I cant wait to
download it and get into the air! I have two questions
for you...1.) Will I need to download anything for the
GPS/nav/etc to work properly? and 2.) Will there be a
'soft night lighting' button/option? I have been using
Ed Truthan's baron panel and have grown used to the
difference between the the soft and normal night
lights. Just wondering if this would be incorperated?
Either way I LOVE the layout and will definately be
using it as soon as it is uploaded! Grin

Thanks for the kind remarks. Smiley

1) You won't need to download anything extra
*
- all necessary gauges will be included in the download file.

2) I haven't made any amendments to the night lighting. If you open Ed's panel.cfg file with notepad, you'll see an entry in there (probably near the bottom) that refers to the lighting properties of the panel. I don't know what it's called I'm afraid, but it will likely be headed and include a numerical value format along the lines of xxx, yyy, zzz.

If you copy just that part into my panel.cfg file when you download it, you should get the same effect.

*
Edit - You will need Peter Dowson's FSUIPC. This is an excellent and well recommended freeware add-on anyway, and is avialable at:  http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Bit of bad news I'm afraid. Sad

The Virtual cockpit is proving far too difficult for me. It appears I'd have to do some serious manipulation of the mdl file so I'm afraid that the forthcoming file will be confined to the 2D element only.

The upside is that it should only take me a day or two to get the FS2002 Standard version together so it should be available early next week.
