Planes disappear (Read 68 times)

I've got something weird going on,
i can see the planes on the tarmac, but instead of taxiing to the runway they just dissapear! ???

any ideas what the proiblem is?


P.S: This problem has never happened before, i've been doing AI for quite some time, but this problem is new to me.

If it would have been the other way around, the planes dissapear after touch down, then I could have helped you but... Disappearing when taxiing is new to me as well. Sorry! Embarrassed

I had the same problem once and noticed that it kept on happening at the same parking spot so I had a look with afcad and the parking spot wasn't connected to a taxiway so the plane had no way of getting to the taxiway to get to the runway so it just dissapered. Shocked

Have a look with afcad and make sure all parking spots are connected to the taxiway Wink

Hi, my problem is a bit like yours, except that I can see mine calling for clearance, it taxies out for take off, and after the tower clears the flight for take off, it simply dissapears.

I have a similar problem,,,I can see most of my ai a/c all the time but a few, well, i cant see them in the cockpit mode. If I go Vcockpit, or tower, I can see them, but not out the front window...whats the deal???

asnamara, I've found that most of the time the problem is either the plane has to wait too long to take off or the taxiways are not connected.  Also, look for route problems...
