How to win the war - fast! (Read 1758 times)

I read that if you want to hurt the enemy to the max - take out factories. So that is what I did. I started flying for Germany.

I looked at the Allied salient on the Continent like an Infantry Commander would. So I attacked factories on alternating sides of the narrow neck of the salient. It went away rather quickly. As a matter of fact, the Allies were bounced out into the Channel in 4 missions.

Then I attacked factories in England at it's closest to the Mainland. and attacked factories in a line straight west.

The war was over in less than 10 missions and a screen popped up telling to go home for a well deserved rest. England surrendered and the US went home, I think.

No ground force attacks were utilized.

Not even a thank you. Ungrateful little paperhanger ain't he?

I was very disappointed - they could have at least shipped me to the Russian Front so I could take on some of those Sturmovic guys.

Hate to tell you this but I found it very easy to win as a German fighter pilot.  Didn't matter whether you attacked factories or not, just that you win your battles.  Try playing as a Yank--extremely hard to win.  As a Brit, not too hard.  Wink

I'm not too sure about being easy as a brit. I found that anti-shipping missions are the best way to go. I've now reached March 30, 1943 with my anti-shipping approach and have already invaded France. Focus on the area around the strait of dover and the at the mouth of the Thames. Hitting Cruisers and merchant ships is the best way to go. Remember, It doesn't matter how much the enemy can produce, if he can't get it to the front then he won't win.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.
