??? Why do all my aircraft fly much slower than the AI aircraft ???? No matter which side I fly, I can not get over 150 mph. I loose airspeed fast and is almost imossible to regain. My system is 1 gig cpu, 786 memory, Radeon 9000 pro 128m graphics, and all dirvers are upated. Frame rate is great. All settings are maxed out. Everything works beautiful, but aircraft flyes like a turttle. HELP!!!

It actually sounds like your engine is not running or running badly. Check your realism settings and see if you have manual or automatice mixture control selected.

Sometimes you may not be at full power ,you may think you are ,check you gages, pull thottle back, and back forward again and listen for increase in engine speed.

Automixture was checked, no change. Flaps & Gear up, no change. I set everything on easy. I still get about 150 mph. My wingman passes me up like I'm parked. I can just see the enemy sticking his tounge out and saying Naa Naa Naa as he streaks by. I will check out all of the tweeks and see if any of them will help, maybe do a clean reinstall.

Hi twohawks,
Check the upper right hand side of your screen to make sure your that your throttle is calibrated correctly and it's at 100%. Or press the zero key on your keyboard to make sure.
Then you can try putting less fuel in your aircraft. Having a full tank if it isn't necessary can really bog you down.

Hi Figo,
Here's where you'll find the latest driver suite for your Radeon 9000 Pro. You have to uninstall your old drivers and old ATI control panel first.
There are two downloads here, the Driver Suite and the ATI Control Panel. Uninstall both of the old (driver suite and ATI control panel) from your Windows Control Panel then restart your computer. After it restarts in Windows you'll see a couple of windows pop up asking you about installing drivers for your video card. Click "CANCEL" on both of them and then two click on the new Driver Suite that you downloaded to start the installation process. Install the Driver Suite first, restart your computer and then install the ATI Control Panel. The directions are pretty straight forward to follow.
Make sure you read, understand and follow the "Installation Tips" at the below URL and you shouldn't have any problems
http://mirror.ati.com/support/products/pc/radeon9000/radeon9000prodrivers.html
If you can't get these drivers to work perhaps you have a different problem.
Good luck.

Howdy Figo,
The driver that I am using on my Radeon 9000 pro is verision 6.13.10.6200...The address at ATI that I used is
http://mirror.ati.com/support/driver.html
Just fill in your operating system and video board type then the next page will show you the latest greatest driver...It is now at 6.14.01.6307 , I haven't tried it.. you could do a serach for the driver I use..."You Must uninstall and reinstall".........Good Luck
