Can anyone tell me what the setup does when I reinstall? Will I lose all my add-ons (Aircraft, scenery, AI aircraft etc) or will it just reinstall around those files?
Also I need to repair some corrupt files, will it overwrite them or leave them alone coz they're already there and up to date?
Cheers
Ian

Speedbird, the best way to re-install is to delete the whole of FS2k2. What I did was backup various directories e.g. aircraft, gauges, sound, effects etc. Then deleted the system and re-installed from scratch, then copied the stuff back into the new directories.
Hey presto.
Time consuming but it avoids any wee problems.

Good luck
Ozzy
