Hi Folks,
Could someone please tell me how to set up 2 monitor screens for flight sim 2002? More specifically, I have 2 compatible monitors and my computer has a dual-channel video card. I also happen to have a Boeing 757 flight sim complete with pilot and co-pilot instrument panels. Ideally, what I'd like to do is display the "Captain" panel and an outside view (thru the front windshield) on the left-hand monitor and the "First Officer" panel and view on the right-hand monitor.
So far, all I've been able to do is display the two panels on their respective monitors. That's because each panel displays in a separate window so each one can be moved without moving the other one. But the "view" is a different matter altogether. That's apparently because there is only one forward view window available. So if that is in, say, the left monitor and I try unlocking and moving it to the right monitor
in order to display a view there --- I can do that ... but then the left monitor no longer has a view displayed because it was moved to the right monitor.
Thus, the obvious question. How do I create TWO "forward view" windows so that I can allocate one to the left monitor and the other to the right monitor?
If anyone has a solution please contact me at:
dsarthur@cox.net.
If you prefer to answer only on this forum, would you consider at least letting me know at my e-mail address that you posted an answer on the forum?
Many thanks

Can you expand the window to stretch across the two monitors. I would expect you can. If not, then go to View > New View > Cockpit. Put this new view in the second monitor, and voila.
