Not sure what can be done about this, but some of my downloaded aircraft are missing gauges, even though the panels are there. In fact, the MS aircraft editor tells me that the panelwill show up like that. Is this a freeware problem that is out of my control?

3 possible causes:

1) You're running FS2002 standard and don't have the Pro edition gauges.

2) The gauges aren't FS2002 compliant. Some FS98 gauges won't run in FS2002.

3) The gauges haven't have been downloaded but not installed in the FS2002/gauges folder.

http://www.fsgauges.com used to have what you're looking for until MS forced them to stop distributing MS copyrighted files.

I suggested to them they could still distribute non-MS files but I never received a reply.

Their gauge utility is pretty good, though.  At least it will tell you which gauges are missing.

Maybe we could start a file exchange program - non-MS files, of course.  Maybe if you post what you're missing someone can send them to you.
