Hello guys!
I want to ask if anyone in the forums knew of an airplane for any type of weather. I want to make a really long trip across the USA and to Alaska, through Canada and looking to see the northern lights. I was thinking about the Cessna Caravan Amphibian and i think i would first consult you guys. Any replies deserve a
HUGE
Thanks
PS: Can it be freeware and for the Standard Edition of FS 2002? Thanks

Really a matter of personal preference but the Caravan sound like it would be fun.
You'd get the option of water landings then too.

Yup, you definitely need an amphib if youre going up the coast to Alaska. I am doing Anchorage, Alaska now and became so intrigued with it, am spending a lot more time there than planned - great and tight mountain flying and some great places to set down (water and dirt strips). Try the new jet amphib as well for a change of pace, I love that plane and I use a helo in the places I want to do some serious sightseeing. Make sure you know where the fuel caches are lol Good Luck and watch those tight turns!!

I meant to tell you as well, flyin' due North out of Anchorage at night will give you the "aurora borealis" - Northern Lights. There are lots of other places to see the lights as well, even in the Southern hemisphere - see the "aurora australis" Southern Lights

OK then. I just wanted to say i was kind of inspired by everyone making the RTW flights. Even though i will not be making a RTW flight i will just be happy to fly as much as possible.
