Can anyone give me both positive and negative feedback regarding the CFS3 patch.  Should I bother downloading and installing it?  The release notes mention some nice enhancements, but I don't want to mess with it if it going to be more trouble than its worth

CFS3 runs fine on my machine now with only the occasional stutter (not enough to get bent out of shape about).

I updated the video drivers to 30.82 and edited the xml file to delete the duplicate attribute and that is all (no change to default configs)

P4 2.0 gigs, 512 meg ddr sdram, geForce 4200ti 64meg

The patch works fine for me. No problems in either single player or multiplayer. My joystick is still a problem unless I calibrate it before I fly. I am disappointed in the scope of the patch as it addresses to few problems and it really did not fix the joystick problems. I am still getting errors in my error log when I use the newer drivers so I still use the Nividia 30.80 driver (this problem contributes to the studders and everyone should check for errors).

You will need to upgrade to the patch if you want to fly multiplayer as most pilots I see on line have upgraded.
