Hey guys, I'm new and could use some help.

I dowloaded the RAAF Hercules (Top 20 downloads), I manged to install the aircraft but when I go to fly it all the gauges are just black spaces.

Can some please tell me what I've done wrong.

I've been checking out this forum and the rest of the site for the last couple of week and reckon it's fantastic.

Thanks. Smiley

You probably need to unzip gau.zip into your FS2002/Gauges folder.

Yeah I tried that as well, and I tried just dropping the gau.zip file inthe GAUGES folder, but no joy.

I strongly suspect you may have "missed" when you tried unzipping the gauges to the FS2002/gauges folder.
(Dropping the zip in there won't do it.)

Try unzipping the gauges to a temporary folder on your desktop, and then cutting and pasting them into your FS2002/Gauges folder.

Coogee you are headed in the right direction. If you don't get any joy unzipping into the gauges folder try
opening the folder until you can access the individual files. Do that in a temporary folder. Once you have access to the individual files copy them one by one into theFS2002\Gauges folder. You may find that you are copying onto an existing file and are asked if you wish to overwrite. DO NOT. In all those files you may find only one or two that do  not come up with an overwrite
command THOSE are the ones you copy to  \Gauges.
Pain in the backside you bet. Works for me! Only way!
Now to see Barry Blaisdell about his panels. Smiley Smiley
