Last time I checked, this happens at 100,000ft..

One more note, the term "FL" or Flight Level (in the US) is not used below FL180 and above FL600. "FL119", grammatically correct, is "alt 11,900". Anyway..
In the event that you take the X15 and blast up there in FS2002, you'll end up hitting a wall, whether you slew or not, there's a "barrier" at 100k..
