I heard in the news. The plane went down at South Iran. Could be 747-200 or 747SP not A300-600R.
That's terrible this month.

Oh no, not another crash. This year seems to be starting on a v.bad foot for aviation.

how sad.
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems there have been more aviation accidents more frequently this year then any other year.

Okay the latest is that it was an Antonov (don't know the type). It was a military transport. And all were lost, many members of their elite army unit the Revolutionary Guard.
The final tally is 302 dead.
Poor people, I'm sure we all feel for the families of those who lost loved ones. They were just guys doing their jobs.
