When I use warp on missions after taking off, my engine will cut off when I reach the enemy. The engine will not restart either, I've tried both the auto and manuel ways. Does anyone know why this is happeining? Thanx for any help.

Are you putting enough fuel in your aircraft? And some missions may require extra fuel tanks.

check to make sure that on any intercept missions that you are carrying extra fuel, most ground attack you don't need any

I have plenty of fuel, and the problem even happens when I use unlimited fuel. My engine will just cutoff if I use wrap on an air-to-air combat mission. The engine is fine if I fly all of the way to the check point like normal, but its too long of a wait to do that on every mission. Even if a turn on warp for less than a second and then turn it off, I will get the same problem. I can kinda start my engine by diving from a great altitude and gaining a lot of speed, but by that time I can't pull up and end up crashing. Thanx for the previous suggestions; if anyone can help, please post.

You need to check the auto mixture box to allow auto mixture, or adjust your mixture (fuel air) as soon as you come out of warp. You mixture is set up on take off for ground level. You warp at 5000-15000ft.
Who switched the lights off? I can't see a thing....... Hold on, my eyes were closed. Oops, my bad...............&&

I noticed this too.
I'm on manual mixture in a B-25. When I come out of warp I drop the mixture lever to the half-way point and the engines then function correctly.
I have to leave the mixture lever there, however, because if I move it forward or backward the engines do not function well

Incidentally, this problem seems to occur mainly with third-party missions or third-party aircraft, NOT with the native stuff.
I guess after all this time of CFS3 being available, people still really have little idea of how it works. Otherwise we wouldn't be getting things like this happening.

Okay I've just tried this with a B-26 in a campaign mission. I took off and then warped to the next waypoint. On arrival, my engines appeared to be very quiet , even though the props were spinning, and I was losing speed.
I realised that in warping, I had reached an altitude of 14,000ft. This meant that the mixture setting, which had not changed since take-off, was too rich, and the engines were gasping for lack of air. I retarded the mixture levers to lean mixture and the engines coughed into noisy life again.
This confirms exactly what smoke2much was saying.
I assume that having automixture enabled would solve the problem, but since I'm flying with manual mixture, I just have to be prepared to re-set the mixture controls when I come out of warp.
If I'd bothered to climb to altitude before warping, I would have noticed the need for lean mixture coming on gradually, and would have already leaned it out before warping. Obviously, warping to the same altitude will not cause problems for the engine.

Also try pulling the throttle closed before you warp.

Good thinking.
I'm actually setting for cruise before I warp now, which means pulling the prop pitch and throttles back. Correct Mixture is mainly an altitude thing. I don't seem to be able to set a lean mixture at low altitude that holds for warp heights of 24,000ft. But I just need more time in the cockpit to work this stuff out.
At least we know it's NOT A BUG. 8)
