There was a thing on Discovery recently about the Mk II. Its seriously bok. Never seen the Mk III however. Sure beats being stuck in traffic....

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I saw a picture of something similar once although I'm sure it never existed. The drawing showed something similar but picture this - not only can it fly, be driven down the freeway (wings retracted) sail like a boat, and submerge like a submarine.

Hi, Zero,
I've always thought these things were nifty. I thought there was a real one that would at least fly, float, and drive -- like an amphibious aerocar. I guess it's just wishful thinking or a phantom memory from decades ago. But it would be so cool. You could just drive down a boat ramp, splash out into the water and buzz off
.
And Ozzy said,

Hi, Mark,
I think I like the looks of the Mk II better, but it would be hard to be inconspicuous in it on the highway
. I can't find "bok" in my slang dictionaries (except South African slang for "girl"), but I think I know about what you mean. I live in a real backwater and the biologists I work with are real duds when it comes to language or anything intellectual
. New words are slow to work their way down here.
Cheers,
Doug
