I wish that I had read the list before I posted my enquiry!
If you fancy a real challenge why not do a Meserschmidt Me328 pulsejet powered fighter/bomber.
This little monster almost got into squadron service and many prototypes and production aircraft were built and flown.
It was small and highly (possibly too!) manouverable. the two argus pulse jets meant that it was very fast and vibrated worse than an old car. Two even shook themselves to pieces in mid air.
In fact the pilot could jetison the engines in an emergency (which was one up on the Boeing 707, which did it at random)
Yes the Me328 would be a really good project for someone that:
(a) Is looking for a challenge.
(b) Likes the unusual.
or (c) Is slightly mad.
Do YOU fall into any (or all) of the above catagories?
If so then the Me328 is the plane for you (or at least a close facsimilly of one) and I am sure that anyone who flew it would find the little monster to be totally frustrating.
