This is really a panel question, but does anybody know how to get rid of a virtual cockpit on a plane?  I want to keep the original panel view but just entirely delete the virtual cockpit.  Thanks in advance for any help! Smiley

The 3d Dynamic Virtual Cockpit (DVC) is hard coded into the MDL. Apart from the gauge allocations it has nothing to do with the panel. Same goes for the older 2d VC.
I don't think you can get rid of the Virtual Cockpit view but I toggle between Cockpit & HUD views with the W key. I always preferred flying from HUD view anyway.  Roll Eyes

The DVC was a major discovery for 3rd party designers. The CFS2 guys led the way & many featured on the later CFS2 aircraft are very impressive.
Flying from a realistic DVC is the way FS is going. IMHO

Thanks Grumpy!  I was hoping to change my B-17 VC to something like the "nothing" VC in the stock B-24 and 25.  Oh well.  Angry

PS: Get the gunner/bomber position by Enrique Godoy. The bombsight is great, and I only put in the bombsight, I didn't wan't to be in the glass nose position Smiley
