It allows you to actually see where your bomb (s) are going to land, and hopefully hit your target. If you still can't destroy your target with this "cheat" enabled, try the "Manhatten Project" , Atomic weapons don't need to be quite so accurate.  Tongue

Better than a dot -- crosshairs!  And when you release the bombs, there is a bullseye left where it will impact.

Iam about to release a B17 panel with a bomb sight that works real good. I also have a B-24 panel with bomb sight and a P-40 to.
It has taken a long time to get them just right but if you follow info on how to use bomb sight you can't miss.

Tactiacal nukes have a much smaller Yield. 0.3kt for the B-61 Mod 11 Tactical Nuclear Bomb (Can be changed, but 0.3 is I think the lowest)

Tactical nukes can be used in small thatre operations. Things like blowing up a bunker deep beneath the ground that even the GBU-28 can't hit, and stuff like that.

I doubt they will ever be used though (and I hope they wont!!)

Yeah but 0.3kt would be like 125 fully loaded B-17's hitting a target with all their bombs at excactly the same time.

But the nuclear radiation would be bad...

FAE sounds good, but I don't know how big they can be....

The CBU-72 is around 550 lbs, 85.6 in length, 14 in diameter. Typical of most FAE's. Much better than nukes.
Actually, there is some debate about the B61-11. It was reported that in tests it only penetrated 20 ft after being dropped from 40,000 ft.
I guess if BMan1113VR really likes nukes, he should go for a B-53. Around 9 megatons.

Yep, but they are huge and they have been retired in 1996 in favor of the B-83. My B-52 can carry 2 of 'em!!

FAEs are equally destructive (The big ones) to tactical nukes on open targets, and I think it is much easier on the enviroment and human life than a nuclear bomb.

Oh yes, I do remember the CBU-72. It's fun dropping them on parked aircraft in Jane's F/A-18 Grin A nice fireball......

Cool Bonzonie. How about two "Daisy Cutter FAE's? LOL I think the normal loadout was one B-53 and a fuel tank in the second bay.
Have you ever considered making a rotary launcher for your Buff? Then you could add SRAM's or ALCM's in the internal bays and really reek havoc.
BTW, the whole idea behind the B61-11 was to replace the B-53 in the ground penetrating role. You're right on about the B-83 too. It replaces the B-53 in the strategic role.

I don't think so....

Is the Daisy cutter a FAE? I thought it was a normal bomb? (A Huge bomb). Too bad the B-52 can't carry them.

Well if someone would make a MC-130 and someone make the BLU-82 Daisy Cutter and bingo we can drop them in CFS2.

There is one version of the Daisy Cutter that is filled with a fuel too, along with the normal version.
I guess making making cruise missiles for CFS aircraft would be quite challenging.

Hey, if you've got the Manhattan Project, fire rockets from P-38s at the dock at Kwajalein. You'll get a surprise, and another if you don't get to 25,000 ft before firing! LOL
