Passenger travel in those far-off days is a million light-years away from what it is now!
Even in the 1960's I can recall small groups of passengers sitting or lying on the grass, chatting amongst themselves in brilliant warm sunshine at my local Staverton airfield, patiently waiting for their aeroplane to arrive to take them off to the Channel Islands!

Now...its chaos!
