I need help!!! ATC/Ground Control ALWAYS sends me to 1L (or 1R, if I request a different runway). I once had it send me to 14L (again, 14R if I were to request a different runway).  No matter what the winds are (I use real-time weather).  In reality, the common runways at KCCR used are 19L/R and 32L/R, occasionally 1L/R are used.  When I was taking flying lessons in my early 20s, I've only used 14L twice... once for takeoff and the other for an emergency landing!

Is this something can be fixed in the FSX.cfg file? Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated

In FSX when winds are favorable usually below 10kts. the lower number runways/headings are used. In order to get to a runway of your choosing your going to have make the winds more favorable conditions for that runway for FSX to realize this, by using your "User Defined Weather". This is the controling factor how FSX makes your flying real.

With simultaneous runways the only way is to request the other as you have been doing in the past. FSX doesn't differentiate it was assigned a "always use" in the program. You would have to request a R/L anyway if you were assigned a L/R.

Grrrr! The designated CALM WIND runways at KCCR are 32L/R and 19L/R.  I do believe FS9 was much better at determining winds, fixed or real-time weather!
