Have you ever had a day so good you just want to frame it and hang it on the wall to look at in years to come?
I've had one of those days. I'm happier than a pig in poo and have spent some quality time with my daughter, my godfather/uncle and his wife and their menagerie.
Oh and we've listened to a LOT of Queen in the car and Emi is mastering moshing in a car to Bohemian Rhapsody.
Awesome day Cool Cool Cool I hope everyone else is having as fabulous a Friday as me!

Steve the only way my day could get any better is winning the EuroMillions and having Cameron Diaz pop round to rape me! My face is aching from smiling and my stomach and ribs from laughing.
Just a truly great day! They don't happen that often, but when they do they just light up your life.

I know what ya mean, Ozzy. I love it when my daughter (7yo) rocks to my 80's favs. Interestingly enough I find myself listening to her music too (pop) and liking some of it. Who would've guessed I'd end up liking Matchbox 20! Shocked

Well today Bud, I had the day off (also got tomorrow off). So shopping in the morning, the RAF Museum in the afternoon then cooking this evening. My daughter rates my calves liver with persillade and sauteed potatoes as the best dinner I've ever made. I'm rather flattered.
Tomorrow we'll probably do paella Cool
I just love being a dad, it is the best thing in the universe. Especially when you find something to help you really connect with your kids and pass on some of your skills and experience and you know you're making their lives better. Emi learned how to cook liver today and make it uber-yummy. Gotta work on my presentation though before entering MasterChef Grin Grin Grin

Yep, being a dad is THE most rewarding thing I've experienced (am experiencing).  My little girl is a mini-me in many (mini? Cheesy) respects. She makes an excellent chix/broccoli pasta and has video-game skills that I very much envy! Wink

...and being a Grandparent is even better. You have all the great time with your own kids and then the Grand kids come along and you can have a great time with them but you get to hand them back when you get tired.
Result!
Very happy Granddad of two beautiful girls with another on the way. (If it's a boy I get to have a train set!)

Pappa Zaphod. Wink
