I don't know why no one here its talking about this in this site yet  the Impact of the russian meteor this morning

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9EgDo7KJdk

I thought for few hours that this had to do with the Asteoid DA14 (I though its was a piece)which is and Hour away from being very close to our earth even closer than our stationary satelites ,many thing it will cause interference among us , TV GPS etc
but this has nothing to do with this, the Meteor had a very diferent trajectory from DA14
more info here
http://www.ustream.tv/nasajpl2

anywant what to talk about this?

They say most of the damage to windows was caused by a sonic boom. Many of those windows were not only broken but the window frames were torn from the openings. More like a shock wave would do. I find that interesting..  Cool

War films show the interesting effects of powerful shock waves radiating along the ground at very high speed during explosions.

Amazing sights!

Paul.

I've seen few comments in TV and intenet that the meteor weight 10000 tons (ten thousand tons) , I personally doubt of this information ,I am sure they mean 10 tons and still would be too large mass

10 Tonnes...and travelling at 33,000 miles per hour!

....that's very fast!... Shocked...!

Much quicker than my Motor-bike!

Paul... Wink..!

..mind you....even travelling at 186,000 miles per second, in space, it takes forever to get anywhere!.... Roll Eyes...!

Meteor, UFO, spacecraft, aircraft... whatever, it was already in your 'airspace' -- we lose more pilots in those 'disguised-as-a-meteor-vehicles'; by the time the ejector seat engages, we've already reached the big boom!
Shocked Cheesy

Actuallly, we were just Russian through.
Roll Eyes  Grin

P.S. I don't truly expect it but I wouldn't be particularly surprised to see such a theory on an Alien [have had something to do with every occurance on Earth] Theorists' show.

Cool
