e3 sentry static fsx install problem (Read 576 times)

i have just downloaded the e3 sentry static plane for fsx,and tried to install as per instruction ,the problem i am having is when i go to install awacs library file, i go to addon scenery then scenery and put the file in addon scenery /scenery.the result is when i go to click the file to ad to the library in fsx, it says no items match your file ,all so there are no files under neath awacs library,please can someone help me as i want to populate waddington,all other aircraft install ok from same source Sad i am using easy scenery 2.regards steve

Idon't think you have to activate a scenery if all you need to do is add the .bgl files to the addon scenery\scenery folder.  You should see a 'building scenery' progress bar when you start FSX the first time you restart FSX after placing the .bgl into the folder.

An alternate method of installing a scenery addon that consists of only .bgl files is to create a folder, name it for the scenery, add a subfolder named "scenery", and put the .bgl files in that folder, then activate it like you would activate any other addon scenery like Fozzer's link explains.

thanks for your reply i tried what you sugested and guess what it worked ,now i have got 6 e3s at Waddington thanks once again,the files were in the wrong order .regards Steve
