Could somebody please upload a scenery package for New York's JFK and La Guardia Airports?  The scenery packages I currently have for these two locations have a major impact on frame rates, and it has affected performance when I land and take off from these locations.  I was just wondering if somebody could upload a scenery package for these two airports that is frame-rate friendly and doesn't impact frame rates.  Thanks Smiley

Have you ever Googled any of your requests? If you did that and also tried an image search, you might find what you are looking for easier. Just a thought and I am not trying to be rude, just telling you what I do before requesting anything. Kind regards, Jeremy

what I'm looking for is freeware scenery (something I don't have to pay for).

.... Smiley...!

The magic of the "Google" search engine!

I just type in the important words in my Google search box, eg;

"FSX. Scenery. Freeware. Joe Blog's Airfield".

...or...

"FS2004. Scenery. Freeware. Joe Blog's Airfield"

A variation of the word arrangement, generally finds what you are looking for... Wink...!

Paul...A Google Bug... Grin...!

The one Paul posted is an update. You need at least 2 other files for it to work. I copied this from Paul's link.

" The zip file “klga_FSX”, of which this text is a part, provides the files and instructions to modify the Shez’s FS2004 scenery of La Guardia Airport (lga2004.zip and its fix lga2004fix.zip) to allow it to function in FSX. Shehryar Ansari has kindly given consent for my uploading of this patch.

To use this scenery in FSX you need to do the following two steps:

1. Remove the 2bgl files from your KLGA scenery folder, as listed in the attached text file – “remove”. I suggest you create a folder called “removals” in this scenery folder and just move the two files into there.
2. Move the three bgl files in the attached “add_to_sceneryfolder” folder, into the KLGA scenery folder."

I think I already have this scenery on Flight Simulator.  But I'll check Avsim.com to see if they have what I'm looking for.  It turns out that I still have had frame rate problems in the past when using this LGA2004 scenery in FSX.
