Make sure you add into ADDscenery, and make sure the folder you add, inside has a scenery folder and maybe a texture folder!
There must not be a folder in between! Hope you know what i mean.

...also, when your are adding the file to the "Add-on" Scenery Library in the Sim, make sure you finally click with the mouse inside the "Scenery/Texture window" for it to be appear in the Add-On scenery list!
..(a strange quirk with windows 7!)... Wink...!

Paul...FS 2004... Cool...!

P.S...just noticed...this is for CFS 2!....is the procedure different to FS 2002/FS 2004/FSX?

Noticing the the OP query was for CFS 2...
Its been a while since I loaded up my CFS 2, and I wondered if the "add on scenery procedure" in CFS2 and Windows 7, was the same as FS 2004 and FSX in Windows 7?... Roll Eyes...!

It may be different?

Paul....Confucius.. Wink...!

what scenery did you install?

sometimes its a hierarchy issue.

in the folder you added make sure the "Scenery" and "Texture" folders are there. example:

Flanders folder put in CFS2/addon should contain folder titled "scenery" and "Textures". if add lets say a folder thats titled Flanders_Scenery and contains the "Flanders" folder then it won't read the scenery correctly.

I hope i didn't make that confusing. just make sure everything is in order. all new scenery should be on top in the hierarchy.

if you need a screen shot i'll get one.
