I'm interested in knowing exactly what peoples thoughts are... I fly on VATSIM, and it seems only thing you see out there anymore are BIG JETS. Is anyone still into the old models?

im saying, prop-liners around 1940 - 1960 models. Big ole radial engines. Lots of noise, lots of smoke, SLOW speed.

Or is this a dieing breed of people?

If it ain't got a big pilot cooling fan at the front you won't see me in it Wink
If it isn't WWII era or from a decade either side (occasionally I'm spotted in the odd WWI kite) then it ain't real....
Mind you I'm also the guy that did the inverted loop of the Golden Gate in Concorde.....

I know man, i LOVE them too, im all about the BIG machines... Lounges, smoking friendly. All the good ole stuff. I started a virtual airline... i know people cringe at the sound of that... its more like a group of people who love to fly the real planes. Im glad to see that there are still people in the world that shares the same passion as i do!

(BTW for the WW2 fan up there... we have the stratocruiser)

Lets keep it going folks, see how many people in the simviation community actually love to fly!!!!!!!
