What does that vampire sound like?  It seems like it would have a wired sound to it.

It's definitely very loud & I can't think of any other jets with a sound like it.

Very Nice Andy. New Zealand is definitely the place to go for vintage aircraft. Cool

I've never thought of the Vampire as being particularly noisy. More like a whistling kettle.

Thanks everybody. Smiley

Doug unfortunately there wasn't an Otter & I don't think I've ever seen one at a New Zealand Airshow.

There might be one hiding in a farmer’s field though, that’s where they found the Mossie. Grin

Thanks Andy... Smiley

You find a DHC-3 "Otter" in a farmers field Andy, Buy It....

They are worth double their weight in gold and silver.

Talks here of putting the Otter and Beaver updated back into production as there is nothing to replace them... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
