What is this FSX Booster I've been reading about. Does this really do what it's advertized to do - improve performance of the PC as it relates to playing FSX?

Is this what you are thinking of Bubble?..>>>

Game Booster 3: http://download.cnet.com/Razer-Game-Booster/3000-18512_4-10913645.html

I always run it before loading up my FS 2004.

It shuts down any unnecessary Windows programs, services, etc, to speed up the Sim/Game.
Quick and simple!
It gives me a 40+ increase in performance..(it says!)... Wink...!

Paul... Cool...!

I purchased the FSPS FSX Booster this past summer. It was the biggest waste of money I ever spent on FSX and possibly anything else too. Everything FSX Booster does you can very easily do from the setting menu in FSX. I can not say this enough, do not waste your money

FSX booster and Game Booster are two different software. I use Game Booster (free) and it does seem to help.

Everything that FSX Booster does can be achieved either through manual editing  of the cfg. or with the use of readily available freeware programs. The price is for the "convenience" I guess Roll Eyes

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
