Hi, I'm think about getting a Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Yoke system and I was wondering if anyone here has one.  If you do, would you please tell me if it has center detents in either yaw or pitch movement or both, as I'm aware the older one has.  I currently use a CHProduct Yoke, but it's getting old.

Thank you in advance for your time in any help you can give.

I own the yoke system and love it. However, there is no yaw control with the yoke-you'll have to attach a joystick or rudder pedals for that. I'm not sure what you mean by detents, though.

If the engine doesn't start, check the master switch. True story.

Thanks for your reply Russell, what I mean by detents is, on the original 'non cessna' yoke, there were like....how do I describe them....slight sticking when the yoke was centered, so that would be the center for calibration.  It would not be a smooth movement from full left to full right deflection, and the same for pitch.  Undecided

I am aware there is no yaw....should have mentioned that I have rudder pedals.  Roll Eyes

Hi Rich.
Yes the Saitek Yoke does have a "detent" for pitch and roll. I find it most noticeable in pitch.

Zaphod.

It's the one with the digital read out in the centre so I guess that makes it the older one although mine is only about a year old.
