Make sure you type in the correct IP address exactly, before the search.

..also, remember, if you attempt to connect to the the FS Host, Sim V Server 178.63.253.134 it is "password protected".

Many other FS Host Servers are free to join.

Look at the Multiplayer Forum down below for details.

Paul, I tried walking him through this and from the screen shots he showed me of what he is seeing he is typing in the IP address exactly.

...very strange...

Just this minute connected to the Sim V Server, so that is working OK!

Maybe his Router? Ports are blocking entry?

I assume he is using FS 2004, and not FSX...(which would require FSHostClient for connection)?

Paul.

(I just use a simple ADSL Modem, so I am not troubled with Ports)

I was thinking it had to be something on his end as his system is not even seeing the SimV server. Also for some reason his old account on here, username Cap149, was removed.

I just do not know Paul...thanks for assisting us though!

Adam...grateful of SimV  Cool, hands down the best sim forum!

He did not do anything wrong, heck he did not post much if ever on the forum.
