I just upgraded my i7 920 to a i7 3770K. See below signature. What a difference. It clocks easily to 5 GHz but have backed off to 4.7 as I see no difference in performance. My CPU voltage is at 1.395V. Temps rarely reach 70C - mostly stay in the 50s and 60s.

This Intel Ivy Bridge chip, in my opinion, is the best yet of my previous three builds with its 1.5 billion transistors and on board graphics enhancement support. This is the best experience I have had with flying FSX both in performance and with replicating  the flight environment. I believe it is as close as one can get to flying FSX loaded to the gills with third party software with settings maxed and flying smoothly anywhere in a truly pictured real world. See the following screens.
