Hello Chums... Smiley...!

There are times, in Southern California, (Central Valley, etc), during the Summer Months, when the vegetation is very sparse, and the ground often very and dusty, with scrub.

Is there a way of reducing the density of the Autogen Vegetation (trees) without reducing the natural density of the buildings, etc, present, to make it more representative of the actual area at that time of the year?

Paul....FS 2004...and a watering can... Wink...!

No, there is no easy way.  You can use the MS editor to edit a set of .AGN files (there are dozens) with less autoggen vegetation and then swap those for the default (but only during the summer and only when your are flying in SoCal).  A lot of work...

Never fear, Tom... Wink...!

I just thought that there may be an entry in the Flight Sim Data which groups certain Autogen objects in terms of quantity/density, and one (or more) object sets can be modified, (increased/decreased), without affecting the others.

Example: Cal Central Valley can contain more, or less vegetation, at various times of the year. More in the early Spring growing season, (Orchards, Fields, etc), and less in the dry and dusty Summer and Autumn, but the building density, et al, remains the same. (From Photographs).

Paul....in a dry and dusty mood!... Smiley...!

As Fozzer said., the idiot I was complaining about was a spammer, not Fozzer at all. Tongue

Just came back from my mostly raining vacations and thought it'd be fair to point this out. Wink
