Well... The theed isn't up anymore, and yeah... If I can offer a suggestion, instead of giving stuff away, just give them the honour or a plack

I've just been able to get FSX sorted on my new computer (and I'm nearing the end of my exams) so I'd like to get back into the competitions.
I agree though, I never did it for the prize. It was just nice to have a play around, and occasionally become nominated!
Perhaps a 3-4 week running competition, and let the winner pick the next theme... But they cannot submit a valid entry for their own theme? Thus, it rotates each month. I think I remember them doing something similar with the 'Workshop' competitions.

So I guess it's gone then?
The Glory would be the grand prize!

We're in the process of getting a contest up and running. If there is a positive turnout we'll get a monthly thing goin' again
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

The only way to keep the Screenshot Contest around is to participate, so let's see what you've got
