I just bought REX for FSX and I'm having problems. Runway and taxiway textures won't load. They show up black. All I get is Cirrus clouds. No Cumulus clouds. The sky themes seem to load OK.  Any ideas whats going on. FSX + Acceleration default runs just find. This is a brand new computer. I would think there would be no problem running REX.

Rex sucks. Can't get it to work properly in Windows 7 64bits or Windows XP.

I can only suggest you have some missing textures perhaps?  In your REX folder, what are the contents of the Runways folder and the Cumulus folders? Maybe we can cross check to pinpoint if you have some missing?

Is your Windows 7/FSX permissions set ok? I had some issues with add ons not working and had to alter some of these. Maybe try that and re-install  Smiley

Are you installing your settings well FSX is running? You can't have FSX running when installing the Rex features

I know mine loaded to a default location and mine runs fine. I didn't have to tweak a thing. I have the same OS as you as well. Double check your download to make sure you have the correct one. Possibly uninstall and then do a fresh install....
