Hey everyone, I have another problem that I hope you can halp me with.  I installed a CRJ-200/700 addon from Ace Pilot on my Flight Simulator X over a year ago, and whenever I fly it or load it onto a flight plan, it crashes FSX.  Anybody know an easy way to fix this problem? Undecided

Hello,

I haven't heard of this problem before but I recommend uninstalling it and then installing it again. Let me know how it goes!

Best of luck

For a more accurate description of the problem (and by the way, the included CRJ-700 in this package never crashes the computer), when I fly the CRJ-200, there are numerous times when I'll either load it into a flight plan for a particular Point A-Point B destination.  Whenever I am flying this aircraft, I have to keep saving my work every 5 seconds fearing the computer may crash and result in erasion of all my work, causing me to start over repeatedly.  At least twice, I have been doing a flight on this aircraft and FSX would crash on me every few seconds.  Is there any settings that perhaps should be turned off to fix this crash issue, or some kind of other solution?  I'm not sure a reinstall will work.  But I could try it as a last resort.

I  presume it's this one --> http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=Bombardier+CRJ-700+%26+200+Pack...

I'm downloading it to check it out.

These are both Posky aircraft. I just tried the CRJ-200 & all works fine for me.

The obvious difference between the two is that the -200 is an earlier FS9 model with integral VC & BMP textures while the -700 is a true FSX model with DDS textures & using the FSX default CRJ VC. I'm wondering if this is causing your problem.

I don't think Posky ever did a true FSX version of the -200.

it doesn't quite make sense to me.  I have dozens of CRJ-200s besides this one installed on FSX.  Those ones never cause me any problems, even though they are listed as FS2004, they work fine in FSX.  That being said, something you're saying doesn't quite make sense. Undecided

Doesn't make sense to me either. As I said, it works just fine in my FSX.

Are these other CRJ-200s by Posky? The obvious solution is to delete the one from this package that's causing the problem on your system. If it's just the different  textures you're after they should fit the other Posky models.
