Hi,
I'm sure this is possible, but can you direct me to a Forum thread that explains the process.
Thanks.

FS4 or FS2004?

As far as I'm concerned the models prior to FS2002 are incompatible with FSX, with some, if not most of the FS2002 models can cause problems. The only way would be to import the models to a 3D CAD and export them in FSX format, though I fail to understand the point of putting a 20 year old model in FSX.

If it is a FS2004 plane you just install it normally, like you do with FSX planes in FSX or FS2004 planes in FS2004.

Up is the way to go.

Some work better than others. Which aircraft did you have in mind?

It’s the Ryan NYP.
I’ve now copied it from my FS2004 to the Aircraft file on FSX.
I’ve not had a chance to try it yet.

Ah OK. The FS9 default aircraft should be fine. You might have to copy some default gauges over as they're not included in FSX.
