I think it's guaranteed to have jet aircraft and larger planes. If you look at the achievements list (under pilot profile) then there are achievements for carrying a lot of cargo/passengers (which would be unfeasable with the stock aircraft) and there are achievements for going fast - There is definitely one for going at Mach 1, I think there are others for going even faster.

I just wonder why they didn't give us a lot more on release.

That doesn't necessarily mean jets.  You could be flying a Caravan with passengers or cargo to the other side of the island or helicopter rides for the tourists or something...   Tongue

In MS Flight they class the Maule as a cargo aircraft so there might not even be a Caravan.

I Jus Dunno', Word has it, from Sources that their Next Big Release will be more hands on' experience and challenging, and it'll be worth every penny  $us 79.99. Inside sources send this as to what it'll be. Its similar to a jet, kinda sorta in a way.                  ...

Well, something big anyway. But for the Mach 1 achievement, you'll need something very fast (or something small, and aim it in a downwards direction)  Grin

Microsoft is proving over and over again that it is unable to adapt to a rapidly changing computer world.  Google and Apple are about to clean their clock and they don't have a clue how to fix it.  As much as I have a love/hate thing with MS I never thought I would see the day when they would fall.  Now it looks almost inevitable and I don't mean with just Flight.  Roll Eyes

The more I read, MS didn't fall.  They jumped.  Head first off a cliff.  It's clear now that their focus is on the *game* community, not the *sim* community.

You should keep your hopes up for jets.

If you go through the achievements, you'll see there's one for breaking the sound barrier, another for exceeding Mach 2 and another for exceeding Mach 3.

I'm not really interested in paying another $20 or whatever to fly supersonic over Hawaii. Rather do Mach 3 and go supersonic all the way to Canada in my good old fsx Tongue

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Have you seen the recommended hard disk space? It's 30GB. If Flight doesn't offer scenery for the whole world, it will at least offer quite a lot.

There is also an award in Flight called "Globe Trotter" or something like that. I don't think they would've called it that if you can't trot the whole globe.
