I have been a quite member, well registered for a long time and have downloaded many aircraft, missions etc. For the last 2 weeks whenever I try and download a file it say you cannot download more than 2 files at a time if you are not registered. It advises you to clear your browser of temp files, this I have done many times. Even when I sign in, it still comes up with the same error message. I have always prefered Simviation to all the other sites but due to this problem I feel I will have to be moving on Angry

Try a different browser - also try rebooting.

You only get this message if you are not logged in -- so please try logging in and then you should find it OK.

It is not a general problem.

Hi, just tried again, now and this is the error message I get every time.

Non-registered visitors can download only 2 files simultaneously. If you get this message in error please try deleting Temp Internet files (cache) in your browser

I have tried everything and it is not a problem from my side as I have tried everything suggested etc. etc. etc. I have tried downloading from other sites and there is no problem.

What is your username? I'll log in and show you a screenshot.

What browser are you using? What firewall? Have you tried turning your firewall off? Rebooted router?

Something on your system has blocked access and it's a question of eliminating exactly what - so you need to try one thing at at time.

The most likely culprits:

1. PC - cured with a reboot
2. Browser - mainly IE
3. Firewall (turn it off & try - that will tell you if that's the problem)
4. Router - some routers can block access to sites ...

It is 99% the most simple things - browser being by far the most common. & it's very rare that this happens.

Thanks for the feedback. I work away from home so do not get much time on the computer. I will try the various things you have suggested if I get a chance this weekend.

Have you tried a different browser? Usually you find IE is causing this type of problem. Try Firefox.
