Why Two different signin IDs and NO remembering of my ID from session to session? (Read 273 times)

Why do I have two logins?

I login in to the main site (http://simviation.com/1/front-page) with one ID and then have to signin to the forums (/yabb) with a different ID

BOTH signin IDs use the same password

Is that the way it is supposed to be??

AND... neither signin will remember my ID or password - I do have cookies turned on and I am remembered at every one of the thousands of other sites I visit.

These problems occur on three different systems running two different OSs.

The forum is completely separate from the main site. Forum membership is free.

I can't answer that. It might have something to do with your browser security settings. My own browser is set to clear history on exit & the "remember passwords" option is disabled so it does not remember anything when I next start it.
