The Bearcat concept was inspired by the early 1943 evaluation of a captured Focke-Wulf Fw 190 by Grumman test pilots and engineering staff. After flying the Fw 190, Grumman test pilot Robert Hall wrote a report directed to President Leroy Grumman, who then personally laid out the specifications for Design 58, the successor to the Hellcat. Design 58 closely emulated the design philosophy of the German fighter, although no part of the Fw 190 was copied. The F8F Bearcat stemmed from Design 58  with the primary missions of outperforming highly maneuverable late-model Japanese fighter aircraft such as the A6M5 Zero; a later role was defending the fleet against incoming airborne suicide (kamikaze) attacks.

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Come on man dont give up so easy! Just hop in a WW2 plane and have some fun, do some editing. You will come up with something. Nearly all my shots are accidental anyways! lol

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Alright, I'll help you out on an idea.
Let me know which you pick of the below
Pick a category:
Fighter
Flying Boat
Floatplane

If you have any particular country, let me know that too.

Time to take this puppy out on the course for some more practice.  I wanna look good on my first race.  Weather, very stormy with major clouding and a major thunderstorm with lots of air to ground lighting on its way.  Perfect.  Just what I need to practice.
I wonder if the ATC can help with the racing stuff in any way.
Perfect!  The airspace is clear for multiple hours, and the current controller is actually the one who works during the races!  And he actually agreed to do the stuff like he would during races like keep track of my times!
Lets get to work.
"Mustang 1, airspace is clear, cleared for takeoff, runway 8, over"
"Mustang 1, cleared for takeoff, out"
"Alright, climb for altitude and get ready for the start, out"

Hawker Hurricane "Tankbuster"

Armed with two 40mm cannon as well as the normal machine guns it was feared by the Italian and German tank crews in the western desert. Its nickname was the tin opener.
