Roll EyesHi fellow simmers..this is my first post...Very much a novice, but love mucking around with my FSX. I'm keen on local Aussie flight senarios with amphibious aircraft but am unable to find suitable scenery/seaplane type airports to cultivate flight in & out of. I have old Fs2004 Sydney seaplane base downloads but the results are pathetic. If any one has these( or an update to make them work satisfactory in FSX), could they please advise. If I wanted to design and install say lakeside type seaplane jetties and facilities, is it hard to do same so that I could place and fly in and out to as I wish...there's plenty of aircraft readily available to download , install and fly, but such opportunity to modify scenery etc I've not dabbled in at this point in time. Thanks folks...any pointers or advice would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to Simviation Fossilbot Smiley

Do you have FSX Acceleration?

If so, it comes with the FSX SDK which allows you to create missions and place scenery objects.
It's on your FSX Acceleration install disk/s.

If you don't have Acceleration, or if you want to design an airport from scratch rather than just adding objects to existing airports, try the freeware program ADE9 (Airport Design Editor).....just google it, it's available on many sites Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
