Well the preseason is underway, with the real action soon to start.  Anyone have any favorites yet?

The Dolphins haven't fielded a decent team in 20 years.

The AFC East is all New England but we might be able to edge out the Jets this year for second place and a wild card.

I myself am rooting for the ole hometeam, the Saints.  They looked good against the Raiders, their new running backs working out nicely.  I predict they should at least make the post season, as long as injuries don't shut them down.

I don't look at preseason results. Even though the Rams are 3-0 and Bradford had a great week last week along with Steven Jackson. We got a tough week 1 competitor...Eagles...so im hoping we can start out strong with a win. Cool

Mark Ingram....ROLL TIDE!  (He's also on my Fantasy Team so I have a little spot in my heart for NOLA)

The rise of the Saints confirms my NFL conspiracy theory.

2001 - 9/11 - The "Patriots" emerge as a dominating force.

2005 - Hurricane Katrina - The worst team ever in the NFL, the New Orleans Saints, emerges as a dominating force.

So when can we expect a Lions Super Bowl and more importantly, a Vikings SB?   Undecided

It doesn't work like that.  The draft is supposed to make up for having a lousy team for the past 20 years.

There has to be a nationwide event that draws attention to a specific area where a low performing team is located.

There have only been 2 such events in the last 10 years.  So maybe if North Korea nukes Detroit ... but really, why would they bother?

I wondered the same when Dale Earnhardt Jr won the next race at the track his father was killed at.

I see a Lions SB sooner than I see a Vikings SB.
