WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

"The winner is......"

RAPTORF22!!

...

"Wow, this is a great shot. The 737 looks fantastic in the Qantas aboriginal livery and right at home in the outback of Australia at Longreach airport, the birthplace of Qantas. I like the creative use of the camera angle and slight motion blur in the background giving the appearence of speed, along with the streaking vortices off the wingtips. A great capture and well deserved."

CONGRATULATIONS RAPTORF22!!!!

"Second place goes to Jetprop!!"

...

"Another great shot taken just after takeoff. The colours in this screenshot are brilliant and add a lot to the atomsphere. I like the lighting on the aircraft which helps it stand out against the background. I'm usually not a fan of the bloom effect but it works well here. The thick cloud coverage add an interesting dramatic effect along with the vortices. Nice work."

"And third place goes to Todayshorse!!"

...

"This screenshot is so simple but that's why I like it. A clever piece of editing add an interesting effect to this shot, the colours on the aircraft are vibrant yet the background appears dull. I'm really liking the special livery on this jet and the detailed airport scenery in the background, even noticed the gate marshalls. Its nice to see FS9 can still hold its own against FSX. And its good to see you back Simon."

Congratulations all, and thank you all for entering!

It was a fantastic turn out this time around, and would be great to see you all again next time.

Tune in for the next one folks, when RaptorF22 will be on the JC bench!!

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I admit it, not the most creative, but I thought it looked good.

Default scenery, no edits except resizing and cropping to get within both pixel and data size limits.

I know you've already noticed, but the tail matches the landmark. Wink

Technically, this is a 737. A Highly modified 737 that is...

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
