Hi all!

..I was having a clear-out of screen shots and came across some amusing ones. I figured, why not throw them into a thread here at simV, and see if you guys/girls can match 'em!!

admin, sorry if this is in the wrong place, didnt know where to post it, plese feel free to move it to appropriate forum!

we could even turn this into a mini one-off competiton if we get enough of 'your fails!'. anything goes: epic crashes, miss-calculations, glitches in the matrix etc...

please feel free to add your 'fails / glitches glitches' to the end of this thread...
all I request is that you remove the [.img] tags before and after your pic
...so we do not bog down the thread for those on slow internet lines (such as me  Smiley )

so anyway, here are my
'FAILS'

This one was from last night. Was having some fun in a Christen Eagle. Went vertical and stalled it in order to slide backwards a little. Well I had the smoke on and attempted to get a shot of the plane with smoke around. Well, that didnt exactly happen! lol

All I got was smoke!  Grin

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Yikes! That's a good one  Grin

thanks!
that one is actually EXTREMELY close to an experience I once had in a actual intened-to be flight.
Here's what happened:
I was coming in to land at Snohomish in a Boeing 747-400 after taking off from Seattle-Tacoma.  I was making a straight in to runway 34L and I was cleared to land, and a Piper Cherokee had been given the "cleared to land runway 34L, follow the Boeing 747-400 on final."  So I expected it to be right behind me.  But boy was I wrong. The little piper was about 250 feet ahead of me and about 100 feet below me and I didn't see him.  (and this is all happening about 500-1000 feet from the airport)  And since I was on a higher approach speed than he was being a big jet instead of a much smaller single engine, when he touched down, I was 100-75 feet right above him and the runway coming down at a rate of about -100 to -500 per minute. And right then the ATC told me to go around, and when I was just 100-75 feet above that poor Piper Cherokee and the runway!!!  I still have no I dea how I managed to go around without landing on the runway or crushing that poor Piper pilot who was probably scared to his digital death. (or his aircraft)  All I remember is applying full throttle, letting off that 29% of speed brake I had on and pulling back on the digital stick.  Thank goodness when the ATC gave me permission to land on runway 16R (the same runway from the other end) that they made sure that no other aircraft had been given permisson to land or takeoff.  I guess those digital fools learned their lesson, and thank goodness!!!

Lol, I let my sister have a go at flying a while back!
First, she got the King Air flying backwards, and the she got a R22 flying upside-down spinning and uncontrollable.
Never figured out how she managed to do that. Huh
