Thanks!  And as to that, I just do that because that's what I'm used to, having started doing paints in FS2004, and also because I've heard there might be some other thing you have to do to save as .dds, so I just went with what I know and what I've heard is simpler.  (And to think that when I do the "non-simple" way of not using layers I get a good bunch of grief from a few other makers )

I've got one for hyperpep that's pretty much done except for testing, and I'm working on another one like the melting one as well.  I'll have it done soon too.
