Hello to all the CFS-1 die hard enthusiasts.

I haven't been here in years, but after discovering an old CFS copy on a drive I used for back up a few years ago ... I again became hooked.

Interestingly, I copied the installed CFS directories from the 98SE "Program Files" onto my current computer and (out of curiosity) clicked on the Combatfs.exe file.

Much to my surprise and wonder ... it worked !!! It's been a long time, but I seem to remember an install from the CD, but everything is there and works just fine by opening the main file without any install.  So here I am, again, up late killing Axis aircraft. 

But being in need of a few different aircraft, missions and campaigns ... here I am again at Simviation.

FYI - I spent twenty years in Naval Aviation, was a charter pilot for over 25 years, retired with an ATP ticket in my pocket and over 14,000 hours in my logbook and of all the available flight sims I still think CFS-1 and FS98 are two of the very best ... and I've used them all.
